- Omu peak and Chalet, situated on the top of Bucegi mountains, Greene is placed at the Chalet high in the Carpathian Mountains (2505 m) being the highest point of Romania lived permanently. Home construction seems to be the one erected in 1888 Took the Siebenbürgischer Verein (SKV). The inauguration took place on September 2 and the cottage was known as "stone house from the top Man". In the year 1900 is built of two wooden hut, the Carpatină. The construction works for a time. In October 1911, the wooden hut is destroyed by fire. A year later, in 1912, the company decides to rebuild the cabin of Sinaia Carpathian but only in action project. The plans are taken over by the Tourists from Romania (STR). Neither this association fails to materialize the project. In 1924, the Inn, the group consisted of Drumeților a few former members of STR, start realizing that Chalet elements planned to baptize the House dawn. These are made in the paper factory of Busteni Schiel brothers being loaded up with the chair lift on Mount Piatra Arsa and, hence, carried on top of the man. Drumeților Inn could not lead to an end to the construction of the dissolving company in 1925. In the same year the paper is taken over by the Romanian Club that Turing begin assembling the cabin in September. In January 1926 the building was already erected on the tip. The official inauguration took place on august 7, 1926. Between 1936 and 1937 were held, resulting in the building which is kept roughly the same form until today. The first stone-built cottage in the Bucegi mountains (3 September 1888), Omu is situated on the highest peak of the Bucegi Mountains being the highest tourist base in Romania.

- Cabana Omu, situată pe vârful Omu din Munții Bucegi este cabana plasată la cea mai mare înălțime în Carpați (2505 m), fiind și cel mai înalt punct locuit permanent din România. Prima construcție pare a fi cea ridicată în 1888 de către Siebenbürgischer Karpaten Verein (SKV). Inaugurarea a avut loc la 2 septembrie iar cabana a fost cunoscută sub numele de "Casă de piatră de la vîrful Omul". În anul 1900 este construită o a două cabană, din lemn, de către Societatea Carpatină Sinaia. Cele două construcții funcționează o perioadă simultan. În octombrie 1911 cabana de lemn este distrusă de un incendiu. Anul următor, în 1912, Societatea Carpatină Sinaia hotărăște refacerea cabanei dar acțiunea rămîne doar în proiect. Planurile sunt preluate de către Societatea Turiștilor din România (STR). Nici această asociație nu reușește să materializeze proiectul. În 1924, Hanul Drumeților, grupare constituită de câțiva foști membri ai STR, începe realizarea elementelor unei cabane pe care intenționau să o boteze Casa Zorilor. Acestea sunt făcute în curtea Fabricii de Hârtie a fraților Schiel din Bușteni urmând apoi să fie urcate cu telefericul pe muntele Piatra Arsă și, de aici, transportate pe vîrful Omul. Hanul Drumeților nu a putut duce până la capăt construcția, societatea dizolvându-se în 1925. În același an lucrarea este preluată de Turing Clubul României care începe asamblarea cabanei în luna septembrie. În ianuarie 1926 construcția era deja ridicată pe vîrf. Inaugurarea oficială a avut loc la 7 august 1926. Între 1936 și 1937 au loc lucrări de extindere, rezultatul fiind clădirea care se păstrează aproximativ în aceeași formă până astăzi.
