- Vidraru Dam visitors can admire the statue of Prometheus, which is located on Pleasa Mountain. It depicts the statue on the Prometheus with lightning in his hand, as a symbol of electricity. Prometheus in Greek mythology was considered as one of the benefactors of the people. Zeus binds Prometheus on his Crag Mount Kazbek, Caucasus, where a Giant Eagle devours the liver daily, which regenerate overnight. Heracles killed the Eagle and it frees Prometheus, whose ordeal ends. In another variant, Prometheus would not be pleased to give people the fire but would have created people from clay himself, steading his demoralised him with fire. The statue was made by sculptor Constantin Popovici (1938 – 1995) in 1965. 

- Statuia lui prometeu de la Vidraru. Vizitatorii Barajului Vidraru pot admira statuia lui Prometeu care este situata pe muntele Pleasa. Statuia ni-l înfăţişează pe Prometeu cu fulgerul în mână, ca simbol al electricității. Prometeu era considerat în mitologia greacă drept unul dintre binefăcătorii oamenilor. Zeus îl înlănţuie pe Prometeu de o stâncă pe muntele Kazbek din Caucaz, unde un vultur uriaş îi devorează zilnic ficatul, care peste noapte se regenerează. Heracles ucide vulturul şi-l eliberează pe Prometheus, ale cărui chinuri se sfârşesc. Într-o altă variantă, Prometeu nu s-ar fi mulţumit să le dea oamenilor focul, ci ar fi creat el însuşi oameni din humă, însufleţindu-i cu ajutorul focului. Statuia a fost realizată de sculptorul Constantin Popovici(1938 – 1995) în anul 1965.
